Brits still choose Spain as their number one holiday destination

Spain has topped a list of popular flight destinations for Brits, accounting for 16.59 per cent of flight searches, which is good news for people with property in Spain they are looking to rent out. La Marquesa Golf course receives distinction from Qualitur

It’s one of only seven golf courses in Spain to have this recognized award for quality. The councillor for tourism, Belén Juste, handed José Ángel Quesada from La Marquesa Golf Club the “Qualitur” distinction plaque which is awarded by the Tourism board of the Generalitat Valenciana. The award ceremony took place in the conference lounge of the CDT (Tourism Offices) in La Avenida Alameda.

The five star hotel is part of a group of assets that Polaris has sold to obtain liquidity. The Intercontinental Mar Menor Golf Resort, which is located in the residential complex of the same name, and owned by Polaris World, has been bought by a group of banks and saving banks. The developer and the banks closed the sale of the group of assets, worth a total of 83 million euros, on 22 April.
