Spanish mortgage approvals are starting to rise

New figures reveal that the number of mortgages approved on Spanish properties increased in February for the third consecutive month.

Official statistics from the Spanish government show that the year-on-year decline in mortgage activity also slowed, falling from 37 per cent to 28 per cent.
Rics commented that it believes that mortgage demand "will remain under pressure" but that the mortgage figures do provide "better news".
