Protests against the abortion law start in Madrid

The protest against the law which gives voluntary interruption of a pregnancy started at 17:00 yesterday with the participation of hundreds of thousands.

The organizers of the protest, with the motto “Every life matters”, started the march from the Puerta del Sol. The route will take them through the streets of Madrid and end at La Puerta de Alcalá. Several members of the PP party including the ex prime minister José María Aznar are expected to have taken part in the march.
