Cam bank in talks with Cajamurcia

The Costa Blanca bank from Alicante is rumoured to be in talks regarding a fusion with Cajamurcia.

The talks are very discreet at the moment as, is a merge went ahead, it would be the first time to happen between banks from different autonomies.

Meanwhile, the president of the Alicante bank, Modesto Crespo, denies the rumour. Crespo assured that "there haven't been meetings" neither official or extra official to dicuss any possible merges with Cajamurcia.
Crespo also mentioned that the CAM is large enough to be a national bank all on it's own.
