New grants for new jobs in Alicante - 3,000 Euro will be paid for the creation of a new fixed post.

Businesses in the province of Alicante will be able to apply for grants from the Consell if they take on new workers. 3,000€ will be paid for the creation of a fixed post and some 1,500 € for temporary employment.

The Councillor for Employment, Gerardo Camps, said in Alicante yesterday that 250 million € will be spent on the measure in the province. It comes as the European Commission is predicting a massive rise in unemployment in Spain.
