Quality beaches on the Costa Calida, Spain

Ten beaches in Cartagena have been awarded with the Spanish quality seal Q. The announcement was made this week by the Spanish institute for quality tourism (ICTE). The beaches are Cala Cortina, Islas Menores, Playa Honda, Mar de Cristal, Cala del Pino, Playa del Cavanna, Playa del Barco Perdido, Playa del Galúa, Playa de Levante and Playa de La Gola. Another six beaches in Los Alcázares have been awarded with the quality seal. The ICTE tests the quality and cleanliness of water and the sand, the facilities, accessibility to the beach and services offered.
