Property value drops only slightly in Valencia Spain

Prices of properties in the Valencia Region have dropped by three and a half per cent.

In the second quarter of 2008, prices increased by 1.5 per cent but due to inflation rates increasing by five per cent in June, they have effectively decreased in value.

On June 30, the average price for one square metre in Alicante was 1,764.30 euros compared to 2,095.70 in the second quarter.
