Jail for architect in Torre Pacheco, Murcia, Spain
May 06, 2008
Torre Pacheco’s town hall technical architect Ramón Cabrera has been sent to prison without bail by San Javier’s judge.
He is accused of fraud, influence peddling, misappropriation of public funds, bribery and malfeasance – and carrying out negotiations and activities forbidden to civil servants.
Another 14 people – including Torre Pacheco’s and Fuente Álamo’s mayors – have already given evidence in the alleged building corruption affair.
Many of the accusations centre around deals with the Polaris World Developments.
