New noise laws in Dénia, Costa Blanca, Spain
November 27, 2007
A new law has been approved regulating noisy work, mainly construction, in Dénia.
A timetable will now limit the hours when noisy work is allowed, with fines for infringements ranging between 300 and 3,000 euros.
For most months, this timetable is from 8.00 until 22.00 from Monday to Saturday, but during the summer months (June to September, both inclusive), it is reduced to 10.00 to 15.00 and 17.00 to 20.00 from Monday to Friday.
Although these timetables will be applied, certain companies will receive special permits, as some jobs can only be done at certain times.
