New primary school for Torrevieja, Costa Blanca, Spain

The project to build the Habaneras primary school in Torrevieja will start next year, according to regional councillor for education Alejandro Font de Mora.

Companies must present their offers to bid for the contract before 12 December.

The new school will be built in Avenida Delfina Viudes in front of the Aquópolis water park.

It will be provided with nine classrooms for children aged four to six years old and will have 18 classrooms for children up to 12 years, as well as a dining hall and a gymnasium.

The building work is estimated to take 18 months to complete.
