Estate agent shot by client in Elche, Alicante, Spain

October 27, 2007

The disagreement was said to be over the payment of a 50 euro electricity bill. The agent is now recovering from surgery to remove shotgun pellets from his leg.

The manager of an Elche real estate agency is said to be recovering well after surgery to remove shotgun pellets from his leg. He was shot in his office on Calle Diagonal at around 8 o’clock in the evening by a man who had previously threatened him over a property sale.

The suspect was caught and disarmed by local police shortly after the shooting, and is now in custody.

We would have paid the electricity bill *smile*.
