San Miguel de Salinas gets new secondary school

Los Alcores school has 18 new classrooms, a sports area with a gymnasium and a hall. Over 300 children are attending the secondary school and room for another 200 students has been provided.

Over six million euros have been invested in the project.

The Gloria Fuertes primary school will also be enlarged in the coming months by a local company.

Mayor Ángel Sáez told CB News that three additional classrooms and a gymnasium will be built and the 885,000-euro project will take eight months to complete.

According to Mayor Ángel Sáez a 14,000 square-metre plot of land has been offered to the regional department for education to build another primary school.
