Civil Servants get on their bikes in Cartagena, Spain

Civil Servants in Cartagena are to use push bikes to move around the town for reasons of work.

In what the Spanish press are calling the ‘Tour del Funcionario’, it’s part of a plan by the Town Hall to reduce traffic in the town.

A fleet of urban bikes will be based at the different Town Hall buildings across the town.

The town hall is also organising a scheme to share parking spaces.
