Spanish property buyers favour the internet

October 22, 2007

76.4% of those people who look for a home using the Internet already have one of their own.

At least that is the estimation made by a survey carried out by the real estate portal Facilisimo.com on its users. 14.72% of users who look for a flat on the Internet live in rented accommodation and 10.65% are living with friends or family.

These are some of the main conclusions drawn by the study carried out by the portal Facilisimo.com on approximately 2.000 users.

When asked about the factors that most influenced their final decision when buying a flat, the people who took part in the survey listed the tranquillity of the area, safety and proximity to public transport.

With regard to the characteristics of the property, the most important seemed to be natural light and orientation, followed by general state of repair and the layout of the rooms.
