Natural Gas for Costa Blanca, Spain

The pipelines which will provide natural gas to Guardamar del Segura, Torrevieja, Orihuela and Pilar de la Horadada will be ready in 2008.

The regional department for infrastructure has allowed the Spanish company Gas Natural to start the building work in Orihuela Costa.

The pipelines are 4.6 kilometres long and they will bring the gas from the main pipeline to the coastal towns.

A total of 465,000 euros has been invested in the project.
