Spain has the longest life expectancy for women in Europe

Women living in Spain live longer than their counterparts in other EU states says a report released by Brussels.

On average, women in Spain live to the age of 83.9, slightly more than France, in second place, where women live to 83.8 on average.

Romania is at opposite end of the scale with women living to the average age of 75.4.

Women in Spain have more university degrees and fewer children than in any other European country.
